This is a limited edition fabric from the Palava archives, hand drawn and rotary printed. We made a limited edition of only 56 dresses made, never to be repeated.
About the style: If you’re looking for a simple, easy-to-wear dress, Mabel is just the thing! She's a classic pinafore and looks great worn as is or layered over your favourite Aila tops or blouses, with Palava knitwear over the top. And let's not forget her classic Palava deep pockets.
About the Fabric: Made from a lovely winter weight Linen, produced, printed and triple washed in Lithuania. The linen under goes a softening process that allows the fabric to feel bouncy and luxurious.
Fabric credentials: Linen is made from the flax plant - a naturally pest resistant crop that requires little irrigation and can grow in poor quality soil, putting nutrients into the ground. Produced in Lithuania. The nature of this fabric means you may find slumps and imperfections in the fabric that add to the character of the linen.
